Ron Klain Named #EbolaCzar . . . but Who Was Runner-up for the Job?

It appears the Prez has appointed a master of spin to be the main communications liaison for the Ebola outbreak crisis. Spinning off of the press briefing Thursday evening, the newly appointed "Ebola Czar" is none other than lawyer Ron Klain.

According to NBC, Klain will report directly to White House National Security Advisor Susan Rice and the president’s Homeland Security Advisor Lisa Monaco. He is tasked with protecting Americans from the disease and making sure the response is coordinated with the U.S. effort to stop Ebola in West Africa.

This haphazard appointment of a lawyer to protect Americans from a deadly disease has many wondering, who was runner-up for the job:
